This guitar was a yard sale find that has sat in a corner for a number of years. It was functional but the body was in rough shape and it needed a new patch cord plug.

It features a plywood body, a (very nice) maple neck and a single coil pickup. As it was the original body finish had been painted over with spray paint. This was stripped off and several patches of damaged wood were discovered. As the rest of the wood looked good, decided to sand into the next layer of plywood for a stripped back look. Finished with a deep red dye and hand rubbed Tru-Oil. The neck was in good shape. That was sanded back and finished with Tru-Oil.

This guitar will be used to encourage our younger kids to learn to play.
