Inspiration for this build is a right handed 1968 Fender Telecaster Bass in blonde with a black pickguard and bridge and pickup covers as shown below.

This will be a parts build using a US made body and a vintage style single coil pickup and bridge matched with a Japanese made neck and other parts. Will feature a through body bridge / string configuration. Body will be dyed brown and sanded back to emphasize the grain then dyed yellow-white and finished with Tru-Oil and Tru-Oil wax.

Specifications

Neck – 34″ scale maple. Neck and headstock finished with Tru-Oil.
Hardware – Period correct (more details as project proceeds)
Body – Basswood. Finished with alcohol based dyes, Tru-Oil and Tru-Oil Wax
Strings – Fender 9050 Flat wound
Additions – Fender Thumb rest below strings,  Fender vintage chrome pickup and bridge covers.
